SCIENTIFIC SUPPORT OF THE BAIKAL-AMUR MAINLINE CONSTRUCTION

Pereselenkov G.S.

Abstract:
The progress of scientific support for the construction of the Baikal-Amur Mainline is considered from the inception of the idea of a direct connection between the Central part of Russia and the Far East by a reliable overland mode of transport - the railway - and the progress of its implementation, with options for choosing the direction, route, technical and technological solutions for construction until commissioning. Examples of scientific support for individual technical solutions and technologies for introducing scientific achievements at specific objects of the Baikal-Amur Mainline during construction, carried out with the participation of the author of the article, are given.

INTEGRAL PIERS – A NEW SOLUTION FOR DOMESTIC BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION

Popov V.I.

Abstract:
Information is presented on bridge structures with integral abutments, in which there are no bearing parts and expansion joints above the abutments. The advantages of bridges with integral abutments in comparison with girder bridges with standard beams are shown. The results of the conducted studies of the operation of integral bridges on temperature effects and lateral ground pressure are presented.

POSSIBILITIES AND ADVANTAGES OF USING PARAMETRIC SCRIPTS IN INFORMATION MODELLING OF BRIDGE STRUCTURES

Win Ko Myint Thu

Abstract:
This article provides several parametric scripts that allow you to quickly generate several bridge design options, as well as simplify and optimize the process of obtaining information. At the initial stages of design, this method has certain advantages over the method using conventional computer-aided design programs. The use of information models of building structures, which include parametric scripts, allows designers to perform calculations with minimal effort, since the model is easy to modify to meet specified requirements. Therefore, optimization procedures can be used to obtain more options that are profitable. The considered version of information modelling will make it possible to design bridge structures with complex geometry more efficiently and choose the best option. Parametric scripts are created using the Grasshopper visual programming language and integrated into the software for BIM Tekla Structures.

AGING OF POLYMER-BITUMEN BINDER MODIFIED WITH SHUNGITE

Yadykina V.V., Vyrodova K.S., Akimov A.E., Lebedev M.S.

Abstract:
The effect of shungite powders from different deposits of Karelia on the aging of polymer-bitumen binder has been studied. It has been established that the introduction of shungite helps to slow down the degradation processes in the binder. It is shown that the slowdown in the intensity of ageing is proportional to the activity of the surface of shungite fillers.

DESIGN VALUES OF STABILIZED SOILS AND LOW-GROUP SANDS FOR THE CALCULATION OF PAVEMENTS

Goryachev M.G., Retunskiy A.A., Nabatchikov A.S.

Abstract:
The currently being developed PNST ‘Automobile roads of general use. The design of rigid pavements’ in overlapping issues should be harmonized with the method of designing by flexible pavement (PNST 542-2021 or a regulatory document that will replace it). Taking into account the shortcomings of the pavement design identified to date in terms of the lack of design values of some dispersed materials, an analytical substantiation of some of them has been performed. The proposed design values of stabilized soils and low-group sands will increase the reliability of design solutions for rigid pavements and flexible pavements, as well as expand the possibilities of using local road construction materials.

DIAGNOSTICS OF ALKALI-SILICATE CORROSION, MEASURES TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ITS DEVELOPMENT AND ENSURE SAFE OPERATION OF AERODROME CEMENT CONCRETE PAVEMENTS

Popov V.A., Zamuruev O.V., Vovk A.I., Sadomova T.Y., Kostyakova K.V.

Abstract:
The article proposes an approach to diagnostics of alkali-silicate corrosion and measures to reduce the risk of its development. The features, according to which it is possible to judge on the degree and dynamics of corrosion development and changes in the operational and technical condition of cement concrete airfield pavements, the emergence of threats to flight safety are systematized. Methods of prevention of alkali-silicate corrosion at the stage of selection and production of concrete mixture, slowing down of destructive processes on constructed pavements, as well as necessary works for restoring the serviceability and prolongation of operational resource of pavements are specified.

DETECTION OF THE DEPENDENCE OF THE PARAMETER ‘PANEL LENGTH’ ON THE BENDING MOMENT IN THE STIFFENING BEAM FOR REVERSE SUSPENSION CABLE SYSTEMS OF BRIDGES BY SEMIGRAPHICAL METHOD

Ageev A.V., Khovyakov A.A.

Abstract:
Truss bar bridges with load-bearing return cable as well as with return cables are rather rarely used systems. The reason for the low utilisation of such systems lies in the poorly studied performance of these systems. The paper presents one of the methods of investigation of internal forces in inverse suspension systems. By creating lines of influence in different systems differing solely in panel length, the bending moments in the stiffness beam of the systems are compared. As the system parameter and bending moments are varied, the optimum truss bar spacing can be determined and other patterns can be identified for further investigation.
